An excercise in bringing my M.Arch dissertation to fruition through a physical model. This model is a work in progress as the project is deeply rooted to the premise of a contextual architecture, an architecture of place and time. This model represents the begining of an end.
In terms of model colouration, grey represents contextual elements, existing and in place, whereas white represents the new curatorial platform. However, the distinction is blurred deliberately where it can be seen that a few critical walls extend into and through the 'white' as part of the 'new'. This is to illustrate on a purely representational front that the project assumes a contextual grounding, where context is in the process of building.
