Poster for Borderline Exhibition

The idea of this design is to challenge the definition of boardline as a nature existence, to clarify that boardlines have nothing to do with the natural geography, but a man-made existence. So I had people hand-make "boardlines" on paper by creasing lines.

Also as an exporation of participatery design process, 21 artists in the Borderlines - MCAD international student exhibition - helped making the unique 21 posters by creasing a line on a piece of blank paper.
More than one piece of poster can be put together to compose a longer "borderline" when there is more space on the bulletin board.

Title Wall:

The color and shapes are appropriated from the national flags of the countries where the artists in the exhibition are from. However none of the shapes kept their own color and background color.

The broken line on the top comes from the 13 pieces of poster.
