Places has their own spirits. Locations absorb the fragments of lives that have been spent there. The peaceful hours ,arguments , dances , conversations and moods of the people were carved on the floor , ceilings and walls.

These photos -  which are going to be first pieces of a project that focuses on the places in which  people once lived and left their seen and unseen marks - were shot in a small village in former East Germany.

It was a public hall where people gathered , conversed , celebrated and shared ideas and feelings.. Now it has been completely deserted and left aside but the ghosts of those moments are still there and alive. The pictures were shot without touching or  attempting to compose anything for  the frame to emphasize the fact that these rooms remain forgotten all these years.
