“The wind will carry it back to you” is a phrase from Michael Garrett’s “Walking on the Wind” ©1998.

I chose a blue monochromatic color scheme to make it feel airy. I chose to combine a tan, marbleized background with a blue background blend in hard light. Following Corey Barker’s tutorial from “Down & Dirty Tricks for Designers” I used his techniques for Movable Type and Column of Text, although I chose to make each word on a separate layer to manipulate easier. I experimented with how I blended effects and layers until I found what I liked. I used color burn blend mode for most layers, except for Wind which I used Linear Light.
