NYU Stern’s School of Business took a huge leap with their 2010 Dean’s Report. Up until then, they only produced a three-panel, two-color financial report to send to their alumni in hopes of soliciting donations. But in a very crowded Manhattan university market, they had to fight to be noticed in hopes of raising donation money and they knew they had to go bigger and better. In beefing the report up to a full 72-pages, this full color report highlighted both the campus’ new renovations, as well as provided face time for their most important audience—the donors. Bright, colorful financial highlights bring to life where each dollar was spent and gave plenty of space to give thanks to those who’s dollars were donated. The report drew accolades from their alumni community as well as the marketing team who was also able to leverage the book to bolster their outreach efforts.
