Pur Vodka Web Rebranding

When Nicolas Duvernois, Pur Vodka's CEO and founder, asked me to submit a design for the new Pur Vodka web site, i was surprised at first since i didn't have an extended web design background at the time. But i approached this project as an opportunity to stay out of the beaten path, and to work using the creative processes of product design as well as marketing. The end result is a web site concept featuring an analysis of Pur Vodka brand, a slight rebranding, and directions for website copy and visual communication. The concept was later presented to  Vortex Solutions, a web design and integration company, who worked closely with us to bring the concept to life.
I always start a project on paper. Here is a scribbled brainstorm, showing the company/end user perception of Pur Vodka, the graphics and visuals associated with the brand, the emotions it triggers, where and how is it used. It helps me map the following sections of the research and often gives me some ideas for the creative direction.
