They needed a graphic identity, and a produced the element to their new tv-show. My client wished for an identity there had a look and feel as a news-show and a late night show. But most importantly should the new identity be recognizability with their old logo there were using on the radio show Monte Carlo there they had hoses, a crown, and a globe in it. They were inspired by DC Comics daily planet globe icon, where they like the steampunk look at it, the colors, the way the logotype was written and the city environment.

I developed in close collaboration with the producer Jesper Dain the identity and form with mood-boards and style frames. A real city environment wasn’t desirable but still wished the city feeling, so I came up with using glowing squares as look, feel and reference of a city with hoses running around the logo with inspirations from TriStars logo animation. I made the logo identity as a globe with metal grids with a crown on so it has reference to the old logo. That way it still was recognizable with the old identity but in a new more suitable way for the tv show.

The whole production was made in After Effects, Cinema 4D, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. My part of the production contained the graphic identity including logo, title intro, 7 chapter breakers, generic breaker, 5 wipes, subs, credits, font choice, graphic templates to put cut content in.
