I am a beginner in Procesinge and the work shown here are the assignments that has been a part of "Introduction to Computational Arts" Coursera course I am taking.
Assignment - 1
A 20 Object Sketch
Objectives:
The objective of this assignment is to demonstrate command over drawing basic objects in Processing.
Description:
The idea was to create an image to emphasize contrasts by combining sharp edges of quadrangles and smooth lines of the ellipses. There are also used contrasting colors, light pastel tones are playing with dark gray variations. About the composition - first was created a center piece and the rest of the image grow around it to complement the center piece.
Assignment - 2
A Dynamic Sketch
Objectives:
The objective of this assignment is to demonstrate command over drawing dynamically in processing. Additionally, demonstrating ability to use code blocks, variables, arrays, loops, and color palettes.
Description:
The idea was to create some sort of a colorful background pattern (i used rectangular shapes). And then overlay it with transparent shapes of different size.
Assignment - 3
An Interactive Sketch
Objective:
The objective of this assignment is to create an interactive sketch in Processing. This sketch will run in active mode and receive input from both the mouse and keyboard.
Description:
For this assignment I was playing with the ways to paint on canvas using 3 transforming objects, each of the objects in different color. The result is an abstract, colorful image.
