This project was made at the school Carl Malmsten Furniture Studies in Stockholm, Sweden as part of a tribute to the work of the Danish architect Hans J. Wegner who would turn 100 years old in 2014. As part of the celebration there were several exhibitions in his native country; Danmark the first one in the Design Museum of Denmark in Copenhagen and the second in Tonder, his home town.
The school was contacted to recreate the iconic "Shell Chair" (CH07,) twice as big the original. The team spent a total of 4 weeks of work, from the planning stage to manufacturing research.
