Oslo Aviation Handling

THE BRIEF for this project was to make a virtue of the scale of the aircraft in relation to the people working around them, to get a sense of the responsibility the business has looking after these behemoths and their passengers.

The aeroplanes are so beautiful it wasn't such a hard job, but keeping an eye on where people were heading, where they were working and what they were doing was hard work. These planes get turned around really quickly so I had to be really light on my feet, keeping up with all the activity. The client wanted a big blue sky; of course that never showed up, but in my opinion it looks better with a near white out sky, it allows the little bit of colour to work freely, and keeps the compositions much cleaner and the components more easily defined, especially the tiny people.
