For this project, the design brief was to choose an athletic footwear brand to design for and a location in New York City to be the source of inspiration. I have chosen Onitsuka Tiger and the Empire State Building. I was mainly inspired by the Art Deco motifs and décor of the Empire State Building. Apart from the sneakers, I also designed another lifetsyle shoe line including pumps, ankle boots and sandals to go with the collection.
