Hero Complex Gallery - Imagined Worlds 2
Hero Complex Gallery hosted their second 'Imagined Worlds' exhibition which celebrated the work of directors Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson, Christopher Nolan, James Cameron and John Carpenter. I chose to focus on one of the best movies of all time (in my opinion), 'Schindler's List'. The movie speaks of the true devastation of the Holocaust but also of a man who attempted to save the lives of the Jewish refugees by employing them to work in his factory. I treated this poster as a companion to my 'Shawshank Redemption' piece, focusing on the core themes of the movie in hopes to create a resonant and emotional image.
