Packaging Design
SoBe is a popular international, flavoured beverage.
The challenge was to streamline and contemporize the SoBe brand by updating the design and unifying the many different flavours and sub flavours.
As the target audience was young, free–spirited individuals with creative and active lifestyles, the look and feel of the packaging needed to be ‘funked up’ to make it more appealing.The mandatories that had to be kept constant were the recognizable SoBe lizard logo and the bottle itself.
I juiced things up a bit (no pun intended) by adding a special edition line where the lizards were made of rubber and were the colour of the particular flavour. These lizards could be pulled off the bottle and collected – something kids would love!
