Personal project: Schematic railway cartography.
This is an on-going project which I started in 2012.
I am creating a railway map of Great Britain which plots all the railway lines and stations that do not exist anymore. I have included ghost stations on London Underground, and branch lines that were "axed" during Dr Beeching's Reshaping of British Railways. The aim is to create an accurate schematic map of Britain's railways, from days gone up until to the present, (which reminds me... I must include Crossrail in my next edit).
