Pretty Petals is owned, operated, and lived by two self-described "country gals," Rachel Johnson and Marla Richmond. They needed a label to display on their new, home-made jams which conveys their simple, modern approach to the business. They also expressed a desire for it to have a country influence in its design.
To accomplish this, I decided on a simple layout with the text placed on a patterned background. The tree is there not only as an easily recognized brand symbol, but signifies the organic fruits and ingredients from select farmers in the region.
