Augmented Reality stamp Bpost

ProjectArtwork 1

Augmented reality stamp scan is a graduation project developed by me and four more students during our last year at the computer graphics university ESIAJ. It was executed for Bpost (Belgiun post services) in collaboration with François Schuiten, Belgian painter. It is an augmented reality application developped for smartphones, tablets and PC. The idea is that once you download the application you can scan the paperwork with the stamps created by Mr Schuiten and discover an augmented reality experience with 3 virtual worlds and a real-time interactivity.

Time: 8 months
Tasks: Concept, Modeling, Texturing, Sounds
Software used: Cinema 4D, Unity, Adobe Photoshop CS, Quixel dDO, Quixel nDO, Sony Vegas.
Augmented reality menu
After you start the app you'll arrive at the "main menu" where you can select between three different worlds: The Beach, The Snow Mountains and the Ardennes.
To enter into the selected world you need to slide the train into the poster.
The Menu
Three different interactive worlds
Each augmented reality world offers a different virtual terrain which is customizable with 3D objects adapted to the selected world.
The Beach
Ardennes
The Snow mountains
Objects & Sounds
Every objet has a unique 3D sound when you approach or move away from it.
