We’re a nation of proud food and wine lovers, and New Zealanders enjoy nothing more than a lively festival with plenty of fine wine, delicious food and great entertainment. As always, we welcome international visitors who make our region’s food scene what it is.

Festival-goers can sample the crisp sauvignon blancs that the region is famous for, along with many other delicious varieties of wine, scrumptious local produce and gourmet cuisine. For wine aficionados, there are wine tasting bars from the region’s leading winemakers, a food and wine matching competition and, of course, tastings and sales of Hawkes Bay’s award-winning wines.

The festival has now gained an enviable international reputation and there has been a great boost in visitors from overseas and interstate. The superb New Zealand food and wine culture has now firmly established itself on the world stage.
