This is a very special series of work, on going, yet limited in numbers as i only create a new piece under certain circumstances. The finding of the perfect and inspiring found object, a particular life event or???.

ALL THE LOVERS I HATE PLUS ONE
These two hanging sculptures were inspired by an amusing friend who surprised me with a discussion on past lovers and those she still hates!. They consist of small (about 6") hand made clay human-like figures, wrapped in cotton fabric and then carefully tied with string. these were then dipped in hot wax before getting chained. Approximate length: 2'.

The small piece that follows is titled "STAY THERE" 2007 and it is a rare colabpration. It "happened" when I found out that my wife had casually put together the parts while i worked on something else. An unusual event it made perfect sense and thus the name: STAY THER and do not touch, move or change anything...it is perfect!.

THE GATE TO MEMORIES OF PAST LOVERS
Third of thelarger pieces that truly compose this series, it was made after locating an old, rusty warehouse gate behind a local art store. It is very heavy as the accumulation of clay figures adds to the weight of the iron gate. In time I will find a new subtrate worthy of number 4 in the series. 25" x 70"
