Suma Han without much doubt is an important cultural and artistic pole in Istanbul. One can easily detect the scent which comes from the creative distilling cooked by the artists and creators working there which has replaced the previous caracteristic rakı parfum produced in that former factory of the early 20th Century. Fikir Atölyesi was interested on depicting what is happening within this historical building of Beyoğlu by the accounts of Verkin Arioba Kasapoğlu and some of the artists who are living or working there such as Elçin Sümer (Art Director of Suma Han and sculptor), Aslı Şarman (fashion designer) and myself (minute 25 onwards).
