This project was part of an assignment for university, in which we were supposed to come up with a 44-page magazine publication based on a subculture in modern society. I decided to focus on the Foodie subculture, considering the fact that a majority of my friends are obsessed with their foods and it's amusing how they get around food.

 

This was the cover that I proposed, which features an illustration of a hand holding a mobile phone, as she is trying to snap a photo of her food. In addition, I created custom characters in flat design style that embodies all characteristics of a foodie.
