This project was for school. You had to re-create the intro of Discovery Channel. This is my  end result

First I started by recreating the logo from Discovery channel. I kept the earth for now because then I knew where to place the world later in cin4D.

After the AI I placed it into Cin4D.  There I used the lines to create the text in 3D. The world is a sphere with a bump map and the normal texture of the world.

Further I created studio lights to make it pop out more and give it a more realistic feel. The background is a simple color to let the animation speak for itself.

To make the letters appear I used a box with transparency that I animated to make it seem that the text appears out of no where.
