My wife (Donna) and I (Colin) are developing a desk and mobile accessories store with a nautical theme called The Beach Day Shop. I design and hand-make the products using some recycled materials. I'm an amateur designer with no formal training so it's a make and learn, trial and error process. We just opened a shop on Etsy and I plan to develop our own Ecommerce website using Muse and Drupal.

These are our first products for our Beach Day Shop.  "Woody The Whale" and "The Land Shark" are designed to hold charger cords on a table top or desk. I used felt for color and  pad to protect the table from scratches.

We posted the products on Etsy just yesterday( Sept 28) and have received some great feedback, likes, and favorites- but no sales yet :(   We also have started a Facebook page so if you have the inkling please click the Like button at our Beach Day Etsy Shop. I'm not sure if it will help sales, but it sure makes us feel good.
