Project name: New style of Chinese Chair
This is my first chair design. I finished it in 2012.
My design theme is ‘ZEN’. I was inspired by Chinese traditional architectural modeling. I try to combine Chinese traditional joint structure techniques and the materials: wood and brass. I used Maple with white leather cushions and the chair legs made of brass. I want to provide a feeling of smooth, elegance and minimalist from my chair design. This chair delivers the idea of timelessness, firmness and mellowness.
