Principles of Typographic Design
Good typographic design is like graphic design in general mainly a combination of common sense and keeping things simple. This is an eight part poster series based on some of the key principles regarding typography and graphic design. A booklet has also been prepared to compliment the posters. The principles covered in the series include: The use of the grid in typography, spacing and alignment, visual tension, repetition, typographic contrast, widows and orphans, dingbats and scale. All artwork has been designed using Adobe Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop.
