Wallplug Kiosk is an information kiosk inspired by "Hidden Heroes".

 

"Hidden Heroes" is an exhibition of the Virtua Design Museum, demonstrates the great inventions but hidden behind ordinary things. The kiosk conducts in three major parts: discover, the appearance of wall plug, presented its 360 degrees view in video, with the story of invention; did you know, knowledge acquiring of wall plug in interesting perspective; and gallery, showing the original plan of design, advertising posters and applications of wall plug. The idea of the project, and the references, as project document, is recorded in the info page.

 

The kiosk structure is referred to the kiosk prototype, in the first screen after being activated, all four buttons are appeared on the navigator page; once any button has been clicked, the navigator will move to the bottom part, and showing the three major part linkages only, and display the selected content in the middle of the page. SeqScreen technique has been used in “discover” and “did you know” part; image loader function is applied in the gallery page. All the pages are installed on the main stage by Navigator.as, so idle behavior only needs to be monitored in the main page.

 

The content, images and videos are contributed and remixed from “Hidden Heroes”, vector graphics are modified from “Neubau Welt”, and the layout style is inspirited by “Onedotzero 04”.
