Polaroid Project

Polaroid
During my one year exchange in the Netherlands I had the opportunity to travel and take my Polaroid 660 Land Camera everywhere. I took more than 70 photos using the Impossible Project films, from which 45 were taken inside the Netherlands. To display these dutch polaroids I created a Tumblr: www.dutch-polaroids.tumblr.com.

My photos were featured on the website of the Hayzed Magazine. You can check the article clicking here.

Below I selected my favorites:

Polaroid + Risograph
Risography is a relatively cheap printing technique that adds some interesting interferences to the final result, making each print unique. Since you can’t predict the final result of your Polaroid and you have to embrace the “imperfections” and happy accidents, printing a Polaroid on a Risograph is like taking the unpredictableness further, making an image going through an imperfection generator process twice.
The risographs were printed on a workshop held by PrintRoom, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands where I recorded the video above showing the print process.
