Lana Del Rey is heavily inspired from one of the finest work of modern literature, “Lolita”, a novel by Vladimir Nabokov. Plenty of her songs had Lolita references in their lyrics. So I decided to create this fictional album of Lana, “Lolita”. The style is inspired from 50’s art and I’ve managed to find the pin-up girl inspired photo of Lana Del Rey. I worked on vintage tones and grunge effects on the visual, adding a lot of noise and texture to the photos. The rest is just layering images on top of each other, playing with Levels, Curves, Colors Balance, and Blending Options.
