THE POSTER
Inspired by the different facets of the design major centering around a concept of design thinking, this foldable and mailable poster for Stevenson's freshman recruitment campaign can catch attention with its complex visual elements yet simple composition, allowing the viewer's curious eye to wander from the central brain piece to the informative text beneath it. On the reverse side is the whole of the information on the tracks and facilities provided by the VCD major all layed out in easily navigated text. My professor hated the idea originally, but I decided to stick with it and produce something that wasn't exactly the same as everyone else's...such nerve I have!
 
THE CHEAT SHEET
As a peripheral piece to the mailer poster, the Designer's Cheat Sheet allows a young designer to spend more time developing his or her piece and less time (until they get fully acclimated) trying to remember specific keyboard shortcuts and HTML tags. If the young designer wants to really push an idea, the cheat sheet includes several advanced execution techniques as well to add another layer of professionalism to their work.
