Cocina de Almendra traces its origins to Andrea; a Mexican native who mastered the art of French pastry in the warm embrace of a Lyonnais family. While living in France, Andrea discovered and fell deeply in love with a quintessential regional delicacy that would become the masterpiece of her new brand: the exquisite "financier," made primarily from almonds. The name was inspired by this important ingredient and Andrea's culinary journey.
