About this Project
My aim for this project was to develop a visual identity for a hostel, showcasing a vibrant atmosphere and authentic experience while appealing to young travelers aged 18 to 35. 

Through research, conceptualization, and design iteration, I crafted a brand identity that captures the essence of Barcelona's culture and fosters a sense of community among guests.

About Bunker
Located in the vibrant heart of Barcelona, Bunker Hostel is more than just a place to rest your head; it's a sanctuary for adventurers, dreamers, and seekers of the extraordinary. 

The name, "Bunker," is a playful homage to both the iconic Bunkers del Carmel, offering breathtaking views of the city, and the cozy bunk beds that cradle the guests in comfort and friendship.

Like the Bunkers del Carmel perched high above Barcelona, the hostel invites you to rise above the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary. Here, amidst the bustling streets and boundless energy of the city, you'll find a refuge where cultures collide, friendships flourish, and unforgettable memories are made.

Bunker Hostel isn't just a place to stay it's a gateway to adventure, connection, and the vibrant soul of Barcelona.
Bunker's Brand Identity
The primary logo for Bunker is a straightforward design with layered meanings. The brand name, rendered in a rustic typeface, pays homage to the city’s and the name’s historical roots. 

The logo incorporates the letter "U" from the name to form graphic elements: a blue shape symbolizing the historic bunkers of Barcelona, now a tourist attraction, and an orange shape representing bunk beds, reflecting the hostel's essence of comfort and community. 

The secondary logo for Bunker is derived from the primary logo but only shows the name. Here the brand name, is seperated into two lines and two different colors symbolizing the graphics without showing them. The logo incorporates the word barcelona as a divider between the lines. 

The brandmark logo for Bunker is derived from the primary logo giving it a more graphic and simplified brand mark. The symbol of the bunker entrance appears to shelter the letter B; showing how the hostel is an ideal shelter in Barcelona. 

The brand identity is completed with a set of three icons that represent energy, adventure, and rest.
Brand Colors
I chose the warm tone of Melon to evoke feelings of comfort and coziness, reflecting the welcoming atmosphere of Bunker Hostel. 

The cool tones of Moonstone and Charcoal are reminiscent of Barcelona's coastal charm and vibrant nightlife, aligning with the energetic and adventurous spirit of our brand. 

Finally, the crisp white provides contrast and balance, enhancing readability and lending a sense of modernity to the visual identity.
