Humane Hero 2024 Event Videos
The Humane Hero event is a charitable dinner and auction that raises money for the Conway Area Humane Society. I created the videos to highlight some important cases throughout 2023-2024 that the Humane Society has dealt with.
Ricki & Bobbi
This video highlights Ricki and Bobbi; two Bull Mastiffs that were surrendered to CAHS due to neglect. They were incredibly underweight to the point that they were just skin and bones. They had multiple injuries from their environment, but now are now on their journey of healing!
Prince Charles Cavaliers
This video highlights a situation where a woman living in her car had to surrender 5 Cavalier dogs. One of the dogs, Gabby, was pregnant and gave birth to 5 puppies. All 10 dogs were quickly adopted and are now thriving in their new homes!
Beans
Beans was surrendered when his owner could no longer care for him. He arrived in terrible condition with severe matting that obstructed his vision and a massive hole in his jaw caused by an infected tooth. But thanks to dedicated care from CAHS, Beans made a remarkable recovery and was adopted by none other than #1 New York Times Best Selling Author Lisa Gardner. He's now living his best life!
Homer
Homer was found as a stray and brought into the Humane Society. He was incredibly jaundiced and suffered from Fatty Liver Disease. Cats with this disease have a very small chance of survival. Homer made a full recovery and was adopted by a staff member!
Pasha & Vance
Pasha & Vance were transported to CAHS all the way from Florida. They both suffered from Demodex Mange. They were cared for, healed up, and brought up North to be adopted together!
