All products marketed under the HOMEGROWN umbrella are 100% locally manufactured & crafted, hand-turned from Minnesotan maple lumber and are without a doubt among the highest quality products Sweets produces. The HOMEGROWN line consists of is own branding separate from its parent company and premium packaging made from recycled materials.
Kendama is a traditional Japanese toy, which focuses on hand-eye coordination, and takes influence from yo-yo, juggling, and diablo. Kendama is made up of 3 main pieces, The Tama; which is a ball with a hole in it, The Sarado; which is a crosspiece that has a small cup on one side and a large cup on the other, and The Ken; a long vertical piece with a point on the top, and a small cup on the bottom. The Ken, and Tama are attached by a thread called The Ito. Kendama is played by essentially stringing together various stall, flip & juggle tricks then ending by spiking the Tama in the hole with the Ken.
