Synesthesia is a neurological condition in which the stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway. In simpler words, this is a unique condition where all the senses get cross-wired. For example, a person with Synesthesia may see colors when they hear a sound, or can actually taste words; stimulation of one sense, it seems, causes an inappropriate stimulation of another. People who have this are called synesthetes.
Ordinal Linguistic Personification is a type of Synesthesia in which an individual will associate ordered sequences with various personalities. Ordered sequences may include numbers, letters, months and so on. In order to address this type of Synesthesia and incorporate it into my everyday life, I put together this book. A Day in the Life is a diary in which for a week I wrote about my day. As a result, I made 7 illustrations, personifying each day of the week as a person and how I experienced it.
