Designing with Letters and Glyphs
By Lucy Bowen
This project is composed of one composition of sans serif letters and glyphs and the other composition of serif letters and glyphs. This mockup shows both of these compositions side by side. On the left side the composition of sans serif can be seen. The term sans serif means without serifs. Serifs are the accents at the ends of the individual character. As seen below each of these mockups are highlighted. The sans serif showing emphasis on the letter "A" with surrounding characters taking near emphasis. Further below the serif font is shown with an emphasis on the letter "Q" with supporting characters around it.
