Himmat Kaur , 45 year old widow , who had to quit her job after marriage due to her husband’s male ego ,has once again set her foot in the battle of phulkari making to feed her children and for survival after her husband’s death. Now she has to cope up with the increased use of machines in making efficient phulkari over the traditional method of hand done phulkari.
