His journal (left) is meant to be essentially a testament of Teardrops entire life-- pages have been removed, taped in, ripped apart, written over throughout his entire life. Journal entries span from his young adulthood to current times. The front is covered with mementos-- things he liked, pictures his daughter drew for him when she was still alive, and photos of his family (albeit, ripped up just enough to uncover a portrait of his old best friend).

On the right is a pocket altar to his goddess Eldath.

The image on the left is the first couple designs I made. One was too mechanical, the other was too fantasy. I really wanted to find an equilibrium between them-- which is how I created the one on the right. 

While still keeping an air of magic, I implemented the mechanical shell and insides. I added straps to maintain a more olden-days feel to it, as straps are seen more with older prosthetics than newer ones.
