"Anthology of the Heretics" is a TTRPG adventure I created for Vampire: The Dark Ages. It is composed by two groups playing in the same scenario (which means the same place at the same time) but with alternate game sessions. Each group is playing biweekly (the adventure is still ongoing in the moment I'm writing) so one group always find signals of the other on their sessions.

"Anthologia dos Hereges" é uma aventura de RPG de mesa que criei para Vampiro: Idade das Trevas. É composta por dois grupos jogando no mesmo cenário (ou seja, o mesmo lugar, ao mesmo tempo) mas com sessões alternadas. Cada grupo está jogando quinzenalmente (a aventura continua em andamento no momento em que estou escrevendo) então um grupo sempre encontra sinais do outro em suas sessões.
One of the groups is composed entirely of male players, who are the Inquisitors, while the other has only girls, who are vampires. Above, you can see two banners I posted on twitter to promote this game and the two overlays that are being used. As you can see, there is a female player who's not there yet but I'm going to edit this project once we finish this character.
The background composition has some Renaissence, Romantic and Symbolic paintings showing witches and The Inquisition.
I chose to make a custom fuchsia filter because it is a color strongly related with the feminine nowadays but back in time it would be seen as something so strong it used to be related to the masculine. It is, in the end, ambiguous.

Um dos grupos é composto inteiramente por homens, que são os Inquisidores, enquanto o outro tem apenas garotas, que são vampiras. Acima, você pode ver dois banners que eu postei no twitter para divulgar o jogo e duas overlays que estão sendo usadas. Como pode ver, há uma jogadora que não está lá ainda mas vou editar este projeto uma vez que terminemos esta personagem.
A composição do fundo tem tem algumas pinturas do Renascimento, Romantismo e Simbolismo mostrando bruxas e a Inquisição.
Escolhi fazer um filtro fúcsia customizado porque é uma cor fortemente relacionada ao feminino nos dias de hoje mas que antigamente era vista como algo tão forte que costumava ser relacionado ao masculino. Ela é, no fim, ambígua.
I am also responsible for the ilustrations and character design in this game too. The players sent me the references and I created. Except for Lady Lirio, which design is Moritz's, I just ilustrated for it to match the other characters.
There's a subtle difference, however, in the background designs of the male and female characters: The male ones have images related to priests and tortures of the Inquisition while the female ones have witchcraft related scenes.

Também sou responsável pelas ilustrações e design de personagens neste jogo. Os jogadores me enviaram as referências e eu criei. Exceto pela Lady Lírio, cujo design é da Moritz, eu só ilustrei para que combinasse com os outros personagens.
Há uma sutil diferença, no entanto, no design do fundo das imagens do personagens masculinos e femininos: enquanto os masculinos têm cenas relacionadas a padres e torturas da Inquisição, os femininos têm cenas relacionadas a bruxaria.
The logo mixes two free fonts I customized to show elements related to the story or, at least, the subjects. The letter T in the word "Anthology" was replaced with an ankh which is a symbol for the vampires in the game. It represents the bond between life and death or a post-life idea. The letter H in "Herectics" is on fire to recall the idea of Inquisition's balefires and the letter S holds an olive branch and a rapier, symbols of the Spanish Inquisition.

O logo mistura duas fontes gratuitas que eu customizei para mostrar elementos relacionados à história ou, pelo menos, aos assuntos. A letra T em "Antologia" foi trocada por uma ankh que é um símbolo para os vampiros no jogo. Ela representa uma ligação entre vida e morte ou uma ideia de pós-vida. A letra H em "Hereges" está em chamas para relembrar as fogueiras da Inquisição e a letra S tem um ramo de oliveira e uma rapieira, símbolos da Inquisição Espanhola.
