Isometric House

This was yet another college project. This time it was touching on isometric designs. this style most often used in game concept design. as such the house is inspired by Minecraft a favorite game of mine due to its simplicity and function. while creating this piece i wanted to emphasize the sunlight coming over the hill in the distance as well as the block detail on the house and dirt detail on the ground. 

Here is a mockup or said isometric image on a computer screen. it seemed fitting due to the inspiration for this piece i tried to blend the ground together to make it look more like its open world inspiration and to give the feeling that there was more to see just over the hill. I toyed with the idea of adding trees to this mockup but ultimately decided against it due to time constraints and i didn't want the trees to be the focal point of this composition
