This layout holds a special spot for me, as it was inspired by the kitchen of my older brother (Chunk Buddy). It marks the culmination of my Design Software course at Cowley College, where I undertook the challenge of creating a menu that showcased our semester's Adobe tools: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
I drew inspiration from my brother's favorite dishes. The design process involved a deliberate selection of distressed typefaces, my own hand-drawn graphics, and halftone textures. These elements were meticulously combined to evoke the rich sensory experience of his signature recipes, bringing a tactile and visual depth to the menu layout. This project served as a tribute to my brother's culinary talents and a testament to my growing proficiency in graphic design.
