Period Positive is an advocacy website that aims to put an end to period poverty and spread awareness about the daily struggles of those who menstruate.
The goal for this project was to find something that we wanted to advocate for an show others how they can do their part and help put an end to the problem. For my advocacy site I focused on the unfair taxing of period products in the U.S, solutions, and ways that people can help and get help. The solutions range from a tax back program to writing templets to form letters to local government to change the taxes on period products.
