Time Out Publishing
St. Petersburg, 2005-2008

After completing my studies, during which I worked at several marketing departments and a few agencies in Moscow and St. Petersburg, I was hired as a junior art director for Time Out Magazine, the print version.
I have been responsible for the main longread section and collaborated with the layout artist who completed the rest according to the guidelines. Additionally, I have overseen the pre-press process and sent the final product to print.

At the time, the London headquarters redesigned layout and typography, and we had to adapt it to the Cyrillic version. This experience was hands-on, involving the creation of a working product for a publishing house where more than 30 people collaborated simultaneously on the issue. Learning Adobe InDesign to this extent provided me with a skillset that allowed me to progress in my future career in print.
