DES016 P2: This project was to create a poster based on the history and style of a chosen typeface. My chosen typeface was New Times Roman. I went for a newspaper look because Times New Roman was created for the London based publication The Times. The entire point of this font was to make it easier for readers to read the tiny text they crammed onto pages at the time as well as save on printing costs, thus leading to the minimal spacing between letters. This font is made for ease of readability, and I encourage viewers to read some of the text as I include a brief history of this typeface in the poster itself.
