Color-shift Portraits

These three paintings are portraits dealing with existing racial tensions that have been woven into the recesses of our minds. Not to be taken negatively, it is merely our ignorance to each other's experiences and upbringing that makes it harder for us to relate easily. That aside, we can still grow to be better. Please enjoy.

These works are hanging in The Gallery of Common Experience in Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas from 8/27/2014 through 12/15/2014.
