My fascination with animation started with early Saturday morning Looney Toon cartoons from Warner Bros, I was so fascinated by the animation style and the humour of these cartoons that even before the cartoon reached its punchline, I already started bursting out with laughter, ahh that was the good old days of unique Saturday morning cartoons.

With over 19 years of 3D experience, I was one of the lucky ones who got to experience the growth of the 3D industry before it even gripped the imagination of everyday designers and artists. I started off with 3D Studio Max when it was still in its infant stages. When I started learning 3D, 3D Studio Max R3 was released which I continued using till 3D Studio Max 2010.

Although 3D Studio Max, is a great 3D design tool, I wasn't too happy with the quality of the lighting that 3D Studio Max provided because I couldn't afford all the additions required to create realism in 3D Studio Max. I then came across Blender and was immediately hooked, although in its early stages and a very difficult tool to work with, I stuck by it and still use it today as my main 3D modelling and 3D rendering tool.

Up until 2020, Blender was my only 3D tool of choice even though the paid opposition tried to bring downs its reputation and destroy its usefulness. But then.... I was introduced to the Unreal Engine which changed the way I saw 3D rendering altogether, up until this point real-time rendering was never heard of before unless you have the money to buy the hardware that could almost come close enough to real-time rendering. Unreal Engine changed the industry with its real-time rendering engine and has been my go to choice when it comes to rendering larger animation set and the only tool I use to run and render Virtual Events.

Unreal came with additional benefits, after getting into 3D my fascination with gaming also increased, I was fascinated with the way a 3D Engine could create amazing 3D environments and always wanted to get myself involved in gaming and with the Unreal Engine being so accessible and with limited coding experience needed. Finally I had the opportunity to create my own interactive worlds.
