Personal Growth

Initially, I wanted to sprint to the end of the spring semester, but I reflected on my college experience at UTSA. Although UTSA had some challenging moments, I broadened my interest in many things, most of all science, and realized I have a more substantial interest in biology than psychology. Using study skills I learned from various resources and people; I finally have confidence in pursuing something I love. Although complex, I genuinely feel I can master biology with all the new skills I have acquired, like critical thinking and better teamwork. Although the sprint turned out more like a walk in the park, I grew into an individual who is determined and passionate about a topic I'd never thought I would blossom into, by circumstances that seem unimaginable but forced me to evolve and extend outside my comfort zone for the better.
