...the healing powers of nature

At camp, we spend a lot of time interacting with nature, which is an endless source of resources in itself. We are also trying to awaken children's environmental responsibility and respect for nature. The mountain landscapes are breathtaking in their majesty and beauty - and encourage young people to see the world from a wider perspective. The silence of the forests and valleys becomes a wonderful space for peace, which is so missing in modern life in the middle of a war. We look at plants, draw them, gather herbs for tea, look at the mysterious glow of the stars in the night sky, make bonfires, listen to murmuring streams and playful birdsong. Touching nature has a history of healing power, and the experience of our camps confirms that this transformative force is still powerful and effective.

But, in the end, "Goritsvit" is about love, warm attention of a person to a person. We believe that it is in such a space that all wounds can be healed and lives can be created with the desire for freedom and happiness.

Horytsvit - it`s Ukrainian name for Adonine plant. It grows in the steppes, on the steppe slopes in the forest-steppe and steppe, on the meadows in the Crimea. Occasionally occurs on steppe slopes in Prykarpattia, Roztochchi — Opilla and in the south of Polissia.

Regarding the name of the plant, especially the folk one, there are two opinions: some say that it comes from the word "mountain" and mean `mountains blossom'. Indeed, most often we see it on the slopes of chalk hills ("mountain"); others assure - from the word "burn" in spring, its flowers look like bright lights. So according to second theory the name of a flower means `burn blossom`.

But any of this meaning fits great for a camp. As its values sincerity, adventure, discovery, friendship and a flower symbolizes  a blossom fire that burns in the young hearts.
