Blank Page is an advice website with five pieces of advice that I would give to incoming freshmen entering the Graphic Design program at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. The website needed to convey a hefty amount of information, while keeping it organized and visually engaging. From the very start, the name Blank Page conveys the beginning stage of the design process as well as the new chapter that incoming freshmen experience. Carrying the idea of a blank page, the website organizes the information in a minimal way while using blocks of text and color to maintain visual interest and direct the reader. With this website, I kept the target audience in mind as I designed the flow and the visuals. I also experimented with how to make a striking visual impact using limited visuals.
