Description: This student project was to create a gig poster for an existing or made up artist or band. I choose Lizzy McAlpine at the Red Rocks Amphitheater on April 24 at 8 PM. I wanted this poster to be simply but fun. I choose to put the date in inside of the flower to create interest and draw attention to an important part of information the date. I put the image in a circle shape with a sort of shadow to create a spotlight effect. Lastly, I choose a simple font that wouldn't take away from the simplicity of the poster.
