This poem is why I wrote but was performed by Koketso Mamabolo, Zandile Athandwa Myeki and myself (Lee Mokobe). It was performed at Brave New Voices in Philadelphia 2014. 

The poem is called Educational Meal Plan and speaks to the topic of how academia in South African high schools is centered around America and other first world countries yet very rare to get history about africa and our collective ancestry in general. It is meant to question the education that we are given.
