Nesta proposta pretendia-se o desenvolvimento de uma abordagem teórica e projetual nos processos de edição. O desenvolvimento de uma perspectiva crítica sobre o contexto contemporâneo, o desenvolvimento de um processo de trabalho ligado à auto-publicação. Pensar a auto-publicação como ideologia, refletir sobre o designer enquanto produtor/editor de conteúdos, pensar nas fases projetuais como um todo: da conceção, à produção, passando à distribuição, eram os itens a ter em consideração.

Este projeto debruça-se no design editorial, fazendo uma breve abordagem à história do desenho do layout, desde os tempos mais remotos, até aos dias de hoje. As informações foram obtidas através de livros sobre editorial e estruturas de grelhas, para retirar o máximo proveito de autores de referência. E complementada por uma pesquisa aprofundada na internet. Revistas e jornais de referência, como a Eye, Elephant, Wired, Adbusters, Wire, Computer Arts, Pli, Novum, The New York Times, Público, Jornal de Notícias, The Guardian, etc.

O grafismo da publicação tenta ir de acordo com o editorial de uma revista e de um jornal, mas com um toque moderno e diferenciador, não deixando que a informação fosse saturada na leitura.

This proposal is intended to develop a theorical approach in projetual and editing processes. The development of a critical perspective on the contemporary context, the development of a working process attached to self-publishing. Thinking about self-publishing as an ideology, reflect on the designer as producer / editor of content, think of the projective phases as a whole: from design, to production, through to distribution, the items were to be taken into consideration. 
This project focuses on editorial design, giving a brief history of the approach to layout design, from the earliest times until the present day. The information was obtained through books about editorial structures and grids, to take full advantage of major authors. And complemented by a thorough search on the internet. Magazines and leading newspapers such as Eye, Elephant, Wired, Adbusters, Wire, Computer Arts, Pli, Novum, The New York Times, Público, Jornal de Notícias, The Guardian, etc. 
The graphics of the publication tries to go according to the editorial of a magazine and a newspaper, but with a modern and distinctive ring, not allowing the information to be saturated in reading.
